• Classification of goods for U.S. and Canadian Customs entries. Submitted binding tariff ruling requests to various countries, as required to support accurate classification
• CBP and CBSA – Communicated effectively with all government agencies, including FDA, EPA, Consumer Product Safety, Commission (CPSC), FWS, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), and others
• Experienced with government programs, including ACH, ACE, CTPAT, ISF, ISA, FCC, TSCA, audits, antidumping and countervailing duties, binding rulings, SCOPE rulings, trade agreements, quotas, intellectual property rights, and bonds
• Working knowledge of transportation for movement of goods by air, rail, sea, and truck
• Personnel training & development – Trained and developed department and external staff, to produce educated and valued personnel
• Developed Import & Export Compliance programs for two companies
• Engaged with Duty Drawback consultant and provide needed data/reports to maximize company eligible benefits
